Simple Scrambled Egg Recipe

Serves 1
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- knob of butter
- salt and pepper
- 2 slices of thick brown bread
- ketchup

Apparatus
- bowl
- frying

Cooking:

1) Break the eggs into a mixing bowl and add the milk
2) Whisk with a fork/whisk
3) Add the butter
4) Add salt and pepper
5) Cook over a gentle heat, stirring all the time.
6) Put toast in toaster
7) Once the mixture is set (still a little creamy though), remove from hob
8) Remove the toast from the toaster
9) Put the toast on the plate
10) Put the egg mixture over the toast
11) Put a large dollop of ketchup over the top!

Cost:
6 eggs €1.50 = €0.50 (2 eggs)
Loaf of bread €2.00 = approx €0.10 per slice

Meal grand total: €0.70
